ABOUT
Raised in southwest Missouri - I was able to begin different forms of art/design at a young age.
While always loving to draw…I can remember buying my first calligraphy pens and beginning the process of correct penmanship.* My love for typography continues today.
At 10 years old, my grandfather was beginning to teach me the basic techniques of stained glass. At 12 years, my parents owned/operated a textile screen printing business where I began learning the traditional ways of designing the artwork (using rubylith and an x-acto knife) to burning films and screens, and printing the garment itself…all the while feeling the satisfaction of being able to wear a shirt that I created. This still plays a major role in my life today. Continuing to work in the screen printing business…Now focusing solely on designing artwork…I am still eager to learn new ways of making each design different/unique.
The opportunity to begin the art of tattooing presented itself roughly 20 years ago - I completed my apprenticeship and received my tattoo license for the State of Missouri.
